This free, one-of-a-kind experience is for the whole family! Join us at CLA Camp Hill as Family Summer Nights presents The Amazing Chemistry Show...a nationally recognized production featuring fast-paced, engaging science experiments, hilarious audience involvement and powerful messages about Jesus’ love.
  • Have you ever had a large ball of fire safely ignited from your hand?
  • Or used a banana to pound a nail into a wooden plank?
  • Or been slimed by a plastic pumpkin?

We believe this event will be a highlight of your family’s summer, and draw you closer to God and to each other!

  • Monday-Wednesday 5:00-5:45 PM | Hands-On Family Lobby Experience - You will be amazed with 38 highly interactive hands-on science experiments you can do together
  • Thursday 5:00 PM | Tour
    Tour CLA Camp Hill's Elementary and Preschool area (CLA Kids)
  • Thursday 7:30 PM | Free Kona Ice for all attendees
  • Backpack Drive | We will hold a Backpack Drive throughout the week to benefit local students

Please note: When you register, you will have the option to order an Amazing Chemistry Show t-shirt for $15. During the event in June, the cost will be $20 (limited quantities will be available on-site; and for larger sizes, there will be an additional cost).

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages will benefit from this event?
This event will be held at CLA Camp Hill and is for families with kids of all ages – all are welcome, although this event is primarily geared toward kids age 5-grade 5. Please note that parents/guardians are asked to stay with their children; this is not a drop-off event.
 
What if we can’t attend the Hands-On Family Lobby Experience?
That’s just fine! These activities are designed to allow families who are interested to come a bit early and enjoy these additional activities. However, the main event starts at 6:00 PM Monday-Thursday.

Where should I park?
Please park in CLA Camp Hill's West Parking Lot (look for the blue water tower). Enter the doors at the circle entrance. Volunteers will be available to direct you and answer any questions you might have!

Is this event open to the community?
Absolutely! All are welcome to attend. This event is not limited to families who attend CLA.
