Be part of one of Central Pennsylvania's premier Christmas productions!
Each Christmas season, CLA Productions presents Broadway-style musical theatre to more than 17,000 audience members in our 2,000-seat auditorium. We are looking for talented performers with a passion for acting, singing, and dancing to help bring this year's original musical to life.
Whether you've been on stage for years or this is your very first audition, we'd love to meet you!

Please remember to:
- List all known rehearsal conflicts when registering.
- Complete the online Attendee Information Form.
- Submit a current photo.
- Be measured for possible costumes at the audition. Please note that being measured for costumes does not guarantee casting.
- Due to involvement of minors, all cast and crew members will be required to submit information for background clearances.

What To Prepare
ACTING
Please prepare one:
Audition Script will be distributed at the Informational Meeting.
SINGING
Please prepare 16–32 bars (approximately 60-second) of a contemporary musical theater or inspirational song that best showcases your voice.
You may sing:
Choose music that reflects your vocal ability and acting style.
SOLO ROLES
CHOREOGRAPHY ASSESSMENT
Please prepare one:
- 60-second memorized monologue of your choice.
- Character monologue from Audition Script provided.
Audition Script will be distributed at the Informational Meeting.
SINGING
Please prepare 16–32 bars (approximately 60-second) of a contemporary musical theater or inspirational song that best showcases your voice.
You may sing:
- with a karaoke/instrumental track (Bluetooth capable speaker provided)
- accompanied by your own pianist
- a cappella
Choose music that reflects your vocal ability and acting style.
SOLO ROLES
- Those auditioning for roles requiring solo vocals should prepare the assigned character song(s).
- Additional featured vocal solos are also available.
- Music and rehearsal tracks will be made available upon request at the Informational Meeting.
CHOREOGRAPHY ASSESSMENT
- All adults and students entering Grade 9 or above should also register for a choreography assessment.
- Please allow approximately 90 minutes.
- Those with physical limitations are exempt.
